In order to verify game files' integrity, restart the computer and then launch Steam.
Here are the things I have tried and did not work: *Verify the game cache *Disable all mods (I use Nexus Mod Manager) *Load older saves (including 'hard saves') *Run the game as administrator *Play the game in windowed mode *Make. There is no loading screen, it just immediately crashes to the desktop.
